Western Regional Strain Gage Committee - Updated May 2010

The WRSGC held two Test and Measurement conferences this past year.  The winter conference was held on March 9-11, 2009 at the Marriott Phoenix-Mesa Hotel in Mesa Arizona by Chairman Darryl Peterson. The program included the host welcome address by the director of Army Rotorcraft Business Development at Boeing Mike Burke, sponsor’s seminar, six papers and a workshop covering hostile environments and general questions from the committee.  The attendees were provided a tour of the Boeing Mesa Apache Facility.

The Winter Test and Measurement conference was held on September 14-16, 2009 in Harrah’s Casino and Hotel in North Kansas City Missouri.  The program included the host welcome address by Honeywell FM&T Senior Technical Manager of Engineering and Test Labs, Bob Chaney, sponsor’s seminar, five papers, and a workshop covering hostile environments and general questions from the committee. The attendees were provided a tour of Honeywell FM&T test and engineering laboratory facility.
